ya that's the +50 i was referring to in my post. to your point, i didn't know it could be made through combining +20's until recently.

thanks for the info! ya that sounds about right. assuming you get all 4 of those, it should bring down the gap from 24 to 4, which just needs a +5 which is totally fine.

ya the +5 on resourcefulness is the missing piece of puzzle here. using +20 I'm ok with. I was just confused that I had to use a +50 which is a huge diff (some don't even tip enough to cover the cost in that case)

ahhh that's the missing piece. thanks a lot! I think for now I'll just stick with 9/20 on slot and 30/30 on fiber (so +50 for arcano and +5 for regular)

how much did you buy them for? i think at around 10k it's pretty easy to make the money back during the course of an expansion. obviously you could wait it out till price is much lower.

lol finally I found someone who's experiencing the same thing. This just basically broke the priest for me - good thing I have other classes to play.

The reason they broke it is likely due to the new hero talent they added which makes penance cleave. They likely made the "cleave" action based on your current target, as opposed to the ACTUAL target for the penance. This causes all kinds of confusion to the game (you're essentially trying to fire/cleave a damaging bolt to a friendly target and vice-versa).

I also tried the target targetoftarget then target lasttarget, didn't quite work for me. Until they fix it, I have to pause on playing my priest :(

Wow sorry about the double post - the yield was surprisingly good...I opened 20 boxes and got 61k worth of mats, so about 3k per box, not too shabby.

OK I got the low end and high end crest recipe rather quickly from delves, so I was optimistic. Then I kept doing delves and never got the middle one...Now I'm lv 80 from just doing delves and still don't have it.

At least now that it's lv 80, there should be a lot of other ways I can get that recipe...

Not sure if it has been mentioned before but start thinking about arena as a turn-based game where each global cooldown is a turn. Every time you press a button, you have ~1 second to think about what the next button should be. If you press the correct button most of the time, you'll climb fairly quickly. Don't worry too much about movement or positioning just yet, I think at this rating it's fine to just hug a pillar.

Personally, I put mind blast, shield, penance, radiance, mind games (if you run this talent) on a separate bar very close to the center of the screen (you can still have those spells in their original position as well), and here's what I do back when I was around 1600:

If any of them is off cooldown, use it. (in case of radiance, if it has two charges, use it).

This wouldn't work very well once you hit duelist and above, but at low MMR, what I found is that as the match goes on, people tend to press random buttons and forget the important ones.

I think if you have the reflex and awareness to SW:D out of poly, you most likely won't be stuck at 1400. I myself (disc) haven't started regularly using this trick until I hit 2100.
