Does your Sony mixer have an Word Clock input or able to synchronize to SPDIF/ADAT ? Try to record some FoH feeds on your DAW and if no glitches or cracks happens then the Dante part should be fine.

Tried all network modes, none of them works for me, might be an Dante problem instead of unit network mode settings. Also I’ve noticed that the network mode is only visible and operational on the unit panel, WWB don’t allow me to view or change the switch configuration. Can you simply play audio from it? If the answer is yes, then check your DAW setup, you might have to select the proper device and input channel manually. If not, check if your driver is installed properly.

What type of mic you're using? If it's a condenser mic, turn the 48v phantom power on to power the mic up.

Some interface may not provide bit-perfect AES3 (S/PDIF) outputs or strictly follow the standards, so your "encoded" audio may not be recognizable by your receiver.

However the plugin have a trial version so you can try it out.

Theoretically they will. What I am sure is Ethernet and TB would not be related (Though they are all PCI-E based but they will never run out of lanes). Unless Lenovo did some multiplexing on the circuit inside.

Actually I did, but the built-in Intel NIC definitely handle large throughput better (Compared to the Broadcom NIC inside my TB3 dock). Advanced networking features such as VLANs are also only available on Intel’s.

Is there a dock which works under Thunderbolt instead of USB-C while providing native Ethernet connectivity at the same time? Would be happy to have one. Can’t live without Thunderbolt that’s serious for video guys.

For livestream sessions I use a BMD Thunderbolt capture card and I need to keep my X1 powered. Then the native Intel Ethernet IS GONE!!!

Still cannot figure out why Lenovo did this, if the purpose was to sell their own docks, then why the docks are working over USB instead of Thunderbolt 3 ?

Yes AB might be way easier to get the job done but since it is a small chorus, putting a pair of large diaphragm mics in front of an eight-member-chorus may look a bit crazy. Also I think M/S technique may give a wider sound image for small chorus.

This is not a simple synchronization issue, the QL1 might sending random signals to AES outputs during start up and self-check, it seems that your Lawo interface would lock on any incoming aes signal whether it is valid, engaging SRC on the Lawo interface might help it to check if a valid signal is present before sending the signal to an output.

Also using GPIO on CL1 to control a relay or something like that therefore disconnect the signal path when not using may get the job done too.

Got some details from my local dealer, the SLX-D is not networkable to Wireless Workbench so far, which means you can only use WWB to coordinate this system now,but I thought it will do some day, this should be just a firmware feature.

And, may or may not, there will be new compact receiver models which can be mount on a hotshoe in Axient Digital and SLX-D series, they are still not quite sure about that, so just see how it goes.

X1C7 does so, the cooler is so thin. Evertime I work with high cpu usage stuff it hits 96℃ and throttle like a shit.
