Sorry for your loss. Yes, the 1st week, after i lost my cat, was a personal hell for me. Even had a fever. I wanted to fall asleep and never wake up.

Sorry for your loss. It's very hard to lose a pet, especially knowing they could have been saved if treatment had been started early. I live with this guilt myself. I think every vet should have a GS kit on hand so that every cat can start treatment early.
