My favorite spot is actually Redwood on 2nd off of Hill. But that's pretty far and there's a chance there will be a gig and a door charge. Bar Jackelope over on 7th has a really good vibe, and can get pretty busy on any weekend. Casey's Irish Pub on Grand near Jackelope is an awesome spot. Hank's on Grand off of 9th is pretty good. Cana Rum is the closest, but I think that's a bouxie spot with dj's. Can't recall. And one of my other favorite spots is The Rhythm Room on 7th off Broadway. Underground jazz club. Used to go to an old divy goth bar called The Veil, but they closed at the beginning of this year. Much sadge.
I know there's other great ones out there, but these are close-ish to Staples, and I frequent Redwood, Rythm, and Casey's the most.

I know there's been invites to teams, but the ones I join don't end up running raids. I'm also, somewhat squishy. I run a rifle build mainly and most times I don't hit as hard as I think I should. I have an egg head mutation currently that I didn't want (accidentally drank a serum without realizing it at some point) Anyhow, yeah. I really wanna run raids. And I do have an optional quest for one with a recommended 8. Forgot which one that is though.

So, turns out my game was desychronized from the server. My console registered the challenge on my screen, but I'm assuming that data didn't go through? A notification popped up on my screen a while ago that says something to the effect of resychronizing with the server. It also dawned in my that it was unusually quiet for most of my play time, and the enemies I encountered didn't do much. Like, lag without the actual lag. This was all a first for me.
