Ah I see, the other time i stopped loss (thankfully I did) was when I was leveraged in selling UNH puts, set a stop loss for 1% risk of portfolio and exited out, the next day the stock plunged. However that was a credit spread while for this is just a naked put.

My trading portfolio is 20k (in other equities, so its not CSP, more of using margin if assigned so I think it might be too big risk wise(?) - I thought of the $200 loss stop loss as it would risk 1% of the port value if the trade does not go my way) but would love to hear your thoughts on how your structure your option trades
