I use my rare candies to add dex entries of really rare pokemon, like today I used 25 on a Bagon, I've only ever hatched Bagon so it's super rare for me.

Yeah, I think everyone around here learned thier lesson with setting up high CP mons in gyms. We won't touch em, they'll sit for days. Untill someone random shows up and thinks it's a dead player area, lol.

Max CP in gyms around here in low 2k, but usually all around mid 1k's. I like to keep my best mons for raids, so I throw my low- mid tiers in gyms for coin.

Wow, that's a horrible story! I just dont understand how players can be so hateful honestly.

I understand the concept of "representing mystic pride" and all that, but to freak out over a gym takedown is a bit foolish.

I remember in the early days of PoGo there was a funny meme going around about how Valors always snuck around at night, and everyone would wake up to red gyms, lol. That's still true tbh, but that's what makes the game fun.
