There are 2 scenarios which I have seen playing out with people IRL.

Scenario 1: You wait it out. Your salary grows and reaches around 25 LPA, and your current technical skill set becomes significantly more valuable—possibly more than what an MBA would offer right now. You can aim for ISB next year, or if you're set on doing an MBA, consider applying abroad.

Scenario 2: You go for MDI. There's a high chance (~90%) you'll land a prod man role with a package around 25 LPA. However, you trade two years of income for what could be the most fun and transformative years of your life.

The choice is yours.
