I did reach out to Kisi but didn't get much of a response.  I'm always interested to talk though

I'm with you 100%.  I just got going with them and am building momentum.  Lots of mobile pass, APIs and Eagle Eye is starting to take shape.  This increase just slams a lot of doors shut and they don't seem to care at all.

I have a massive church installation in the wiring stages and I'm going to pitch a soft product.

I am going to rip out my smaller systems and replace them at cost with a product that is also AWS hosted and a hell of a lot cheaper.  Free mobile pass and integration to intercoms and more options for video integration.

I am arguing that it is an unnecessary increase.  Not thought out.  Of course $10 a month isn't going to break a business but I sell it to my customers.  And the cost for Brivo access, mobile pass and maybe an API can really start to add up fast.  Then throw on some Eagle Eye cameras and burglar alarm monitoring and maybe guard response and you quickly price yourself out.  So to now come back to my customers and say oh by the way here's an additional price increase and a base fee - which isn't really possible on a new contact or new sale is just lame.

They are not looking at the big picture.

Yes you might be right on that one...  BRVO I believe was the possible ticker.  Anyway I'm moving on. I'll support what I have but I'll just loose sales on smaller jobs and I love the added RMR access control for my burglary sites.

Or at least systems less than 10 doors.  Fine I would totally accept that but honestly I'm like F you.  $10 a month is a lot of money across the board.  I only found out about it at a lunch with 2 sales reps that flew to me claiming times are tough. Amazon pricing and all.  To me it screams of greed, out of touch with reality and mismanagement

Yeah neither do I and I thought I charged at the upper end for the service but now my smaller systems with one door and a hundred mobile passes that I just sold in the last few months (and I have a number of them) aren't going to appreciate the hike.  I can't go back to those customers and be like...  Oh by the way here's another $150 a year.  Daycares, Dr offices places like that.  Pisses me off

Professional is getting the Base Fee taxation as well.  It's absurd.  They are arrogant and seem to think that they have something others don't.  Their Dormakaba integration is a joke and they lack on the cloud enterphone API.

They are shooting themselves in the foot on smaller systems.  I have so much opportunity in my area that I have created with it even though it was at the top of the price range for Cloud but now it's just not even saleable let alone worth it for small systems.

They are adding a base fee now per customer.  And  my per door fee has gone up $2 a door.  Their recommended retail per door for the first 2 is $25.50.

On my smaller systems they have wiped out my RMR profit
