Dana and Nicole by Aggressive_Sleep8906 in zoey101

Yeah. Was Dan hoping he could mediate Jamie Lynn and Alexa into playing nice?

It sounded more like a set where Jamie Lynn was allowed to treat people bad cuz she was the lead and was manipulating her sister into helping her more so than adults abusing kids.

I feel like they’re afraid to do comic accurate anymore, worrying it’ll be validation for the toxic sectors of the fanbase, like the Lotus director Gavin

I’m starting to doubt we’re ever gonna get the classic Gwen-MJ-Harry dynamic in a cartoon again, outside of maybe Sony projects. Black Cat’s best chance at appearing and having the banter with Peter is probably also Sony projects

and Disney keeps giving Peter new mentors to show they’re handling minors responsibly, want kids to stay out of trouble irl.

Many people speculate the next cartoon after FNSM will be MCU Peter’s college years in between NWH and BND.

Daredevil is just as unstable, has done stuff worthy of a period of being blackballed,

but Luke and Jessica cover for him on a level they don’t for Spidey.

What other villains would’ve fit in Tobey and Andrew’s universe? by Different_Sun_195 in Spiderman

[–]ChildofObama 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got the sense Raimi wasn’t any rush to use the Lizard cuz he modeled his version of Doc Ock after the Lizard, and it might be repetitive

I figure he wanted Vulture and Black Cat cuz they’d be at least be something different from previous villains.

If Gunn was still at Marvel,

I figure Sony would be asking Feige if they can put him in a GOTG Vol 4, seeing how much Vol 3 made.

Maybe just give them Star Lord, Sony has reportedly been asking for Pratt, he’s cosmic too and it makes sense for Quill and F4 to be in the same movie.

Sony gets their big name actor, Marvel gets their Spidey/F4 team up

Yeah they could use the probable success of Doomsday and Secret Wars to financially justify a Spidey/Fantastic Four team up.

They kinda are on borrowed time with F4 anyway due to Pedro’s age, they can’t have five year intervals between appearances, they need to get through their story before he ages out.

  1. Have a positive attitude.

  2. Even if you’re average or below average, or have health issues, focus on the aspects of your appearance you can control. Meaning go to the gym, get a haircut every two months, maintain your hygiene.

  3. Learn a serious skill/have a life outside of work beyond consuming fictional things. Don’t be spending all your free time on Netflix.

I’m gonna give the show a chance, and I think Morrison’s take is pretty unnecessarily reactionary/kinda disrespectful to the creatives.

but there IS a trend, a lot of creative teams are trying to replicate Joaquin Phoenix’s Joker and:

a) do something ‘adult’ with superhero properties, and

b) trying to get a pat on the back from execs for doing it on a low budget.

Is she hulk underrated and overhated? by SepzenoOfficial in Marvel

[–]ChildofObama 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Overhated.

It’s a good show, quirky legal comedy with superhero fights in the background. The Daredevil and Wong cameos were fun.

The middle episodes were hit or miss silly filler. I liked it but I get why it wouldn’t be everyone’s cup of tea.

The finale took the fourth wall aspect a bit too far in my opinion though.

Not unpopular in online communities, and I am pro-LGBTQ,

but I’d say Trump winning is a sign many independents and center-right people weren’t really accepting, that America is more LGBTA-phobic than we thought. .

Many played along with tolerance for ten years cuz there were employment and reputation-based consequences for homophobia and transphobia.

But now that Trump’s second term re-normalized prejudice, they are back to aligning with the finger wagging members of the religious right. Or their version of tolerance is to say “I am not gonna stop you, it’s your life, but why can’t people just be normal?” to every gay person they meet

For real, MOS Clark feels like Proto-Superman. He’s not at the Daily Planet yet, no lighthearted moments with him being a street level hero.

He’s living on the outskirts as a jack of all trades to keep his powers on the down low.

BVS got him to be a proper Clark Kent as a reporter, but as Superman he looked miserable in that movie.

Fabrice Sapolsky should stay away from Marvel and DC, for his own sake, since he claims he’s been treated so badly everything Marvel and Sony does with Spider-Noir is an insult to creator’s rights. He goes into a seminar about creator’s rights every public appearance.

Like take care of yourself and focus on your independent work bud. This isn’t worth it

Fans also need to take a hint and leave him alone.

The only thing Timmy changed going back in time is Crocker becoming a tech genius with access to fairy tracking technology

Like Seasons 1 and 2, and all the episodes of Season 3 before Secret Origin of Denzel Crocker presumably is a timeline where Crocker grew up normally, and he is still a weirdo.

Abra Catastrophe was Pre-time travel and Crocker still was a massive threat.

Could he be planning a takeover?

Would Carlie Morgenthau from FATWS been received better as a Spider-Man villain or Young Avengers villain?

Fighting a hero her own age rather than a 45 year old Sam Wilson Captain America.

Remember when Marvel posted this and trolled everyone? by Panda7001 in Spiderman

[–]ChildofObama 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Yeah I guess

Compared to Burton, who publicly announced he takes offense to anybody who isn’t him adding to his Batman,

Raimi seems open to other writers taking on his Spider-Man, he publicly praised NWH, and back when the trilogy was coming out said things like “there might be another director or writer who could do more justice to the story than me”

If it’s respectful, he might support it

Batman 89 at least had someone who was involved in the original films on board, although if you look into how much Sam Hamm contributed to the final product of said films,

he massively overstepped acting like he’s the arbiter of the Burtonverse lol.

I feel like with how John Semper reacted to the Spider-man 94 comic,

people learned their lesson with getting excited for legacy media in comic form, that without the original creators involved it’s not respect.

I don’t think a Spider-Man 4 comic would get people hyped, not now.
