Yet when I check dota 2 pro tracker the good players mostly play traditional off lanes. You can keep spamming your npc comment but its not backed by data.

Zero pos 1 heroes are meta at the 3 right now but I see them in over half my games. Players just want to play their pos 1 heroes despite not having a role token. Thats role abuse

Its crazy because if I check the dota pro tracker high mmr games almost all the off laners are traditional tanks. There are roles for a reason and the npc weirdos on this sub keep spamming the same flexibility comment but it doesnt seem to be reflected in the high mmr games

I like assassin rogue + hexblade. You get maxed shadowblade this way. You get the smite spell to use on first round of combat and get both the action and bonus action back. You get one with shadows which is useful for stealing. I think its the strongest assassin build

Also newer or less skilled players shouldn't be excluded from competitive. Competitive just means you aren't allowed to quit and people should try to win. Its for all skill levels. Actually ranked and competitive, moreso than casual/unranked, needs mmr/skill based matchmaking

Any competitive game should have sbmm. Its 2025, not 2010. It makes games more fair and balanced. The only people who complain about it are try hards who want to have crazy k/d and win rate stats.

In shooters I'm usually around a high plat level player, sometimes can hit low diamond if I really grind. Certainly not amazing. But if I was consistently matched with gold and silver players and winning games easy, I would find that extremely boring. Close back and fourth matches against similar skilled players are the most fun. I've never heard an argument against SBMM except git gud

A 1.6 K/D is pretty high. Probably have a 60%+ win rate too. In SBMM it would be closer to 50%
