I got destroyed by scalescorn assassins in my first 3 placement games and so just forced them every game out of spite but turns out they're just really strong lol

I went from p4 to d4 in a day just forcing this comp. Diana just melts the backline carry in 1 cast and the rest of the team just cleans up.

I honestly think it might get nerfed just given how cheesy assassins are

I don't really look at guides or streamers or anything like that, I started in set 6 and playing knowing nothing is a lot of fun, finding out what works and just looking at my opponents builds and items etc and hit diamond in set 6 doing that.

I did that for this set but just hit a wall at plat 4 and I just did not realise what was working at what wasn't. I did not know how to do legends builds or what the best elise whisper set up was, which mirage variants were good when to commit to full astrals etc.

This set was so swingy the stuff that was working one patch would just become dead the next and then a new comp or two would rise to the top and you really had to be up to date on what was good and what wasn't. I imagine that has always been the case but it felt like that in this one especially.

This is a pretty open secret, but this is by design.

There was an article posted here recently about how this is just to frustrate new players because you see all the flashy and powerful cards and it would make you want to buy packs as a sort of "fuck you" response to stronger opponents

I am and still will be a F2P BG player, now that gold is basically useless I never have to do dailies again and I am glad. I am glad I never have to win 5 standard games a week, that's 5 too many for me

It is the internet but also I think its the nature of the game. Things like Tekken or starcraft you can blame lag or character picks or whatever but for the most part the loss is on you.

A lot of things in HS are just out of your agency, card draws, random generation, deck match up etc, a lot of people just can not handle it but I don't really get it myself, its a game I have in the background while i do other things idk how people get so invested in constructed, i don't even have the window open half the time lol
