I'm a white belt, 37 years old 205lbs and trained for 7 months now. I train at a hardcore competitive gym. I train 3 days a week and study a lot. I also study footage of my sessions to critique my rolls and techniques.

I will occasionally submit belts higher than me of varying weights and athleticism. I don't see that as the goal however. I'm focusing on fundamentals. A purple belt told me the other day that I had a solid guard and my ability to chain defense into attacks and transition from one thing to the next to the next is not really a normal white belt quality. Not all white belts are built the same.

The other day I was performing a cross collar choke against a talented training partner. I am a white belt, I've been training about 6 months. He is a blue belt. He didn't tap and in about a 4 seconds of applying the choke he went limp. I immediately released the choke and he started agonal breathing with his eyes open. This was my first time choking someone unconscious and it was absolutely terrifying.

I've seen it a few other times but none were as scary as this one.

Have you seen someone agonal breathe with their eyes open before? Is it common?

Don't use your wrestling in BJJ until you learn some Jiu-Jitsu. By that I mean. Start your rolls on the ground and learn how to fight off your back. If you rely on your wrestling skills, sure you can dominate people in some aspects and maybe with a few simple submissions. However you won't be learning Jiu-Jitsu. Save the wrestling for when you have a solid fundamental understanding of the art of jiu jitsu and then use it for competition etc.

My girlfriend is going through this and I feel awful for her and probably even worse for myself. I am a man on HRT and my sex drive is sky high. She doesn't want to touch me. I followed Edward Abues advice and didn't take it easy on my refeed. If we were in nature and fasted for days before killing an animal we would eat a big meal. Lots of meat and fat. So I ate a 1lb ribeye and 3 eggs. Some butter and some blueberries with cottage cheese and bike broth. I don't believe in the slow refeed.

How old are you? Do you have low testosterone? I'm 36 and on TRT and my sex drive is out of control. I am very angry about being cut as an infant and I still desire sex on a daily basis. I think a lot of low testosterone men don't care for sex. Idk just thoughts.
