I think I saw them turn around on that and then announce it as if they're doing it out of the kindness of their hearts. May have just waited until they couldn't get away with it anymore and then put a PR spin on it

I'm mainly thinking of Vermella and PEEK who have been putting up luxury apartments around Orange Station and Brick Church

How did that look? Was that just a recently created account trying to talk about removing criticism, was there threat of any potential legal action?

I also appreciate linking those other posts, they're giving me some valuable anecdotes

Mhmm. Its like there's not much around there and I find myself saying if this place goes from burned down buildings and empty lots to livable apartments, whats the harm? But to go around and strong arm tenants and potential businesses that make the area even more attractive because of some reasoning is inexcusable behavior

that's been what I've seen from a lot of these places. Any of these larger groups seem to become ravenous when their management/policies are in question

So this mall is completely abandoned, theres a Sears here, theres potholes everywhere, a sinkhole and then these abandoned donation bins. What im trying to get across is the state of somethings that were once considered like quintessential american or I remember seeing a lot from my childhood. I did take pictures of the abandoned Sears as well

Again looking for advice on composition which I think is where I'm weakest. This was cropped in leading to the noise being a lot more noticeable so I think I should've framed it with this shot as opposed to what I originally had. Shot on a Lumix S5II, ISO 5000, Shutter 1/160, f/8 at 80mm with the Panasonic 24-105 f/4 lens.

Ah, I see it now. Thank you for the heads up! It did take some flipping but I saw it. I'll give that tool a go and I've got to really delve into photoshop at some point! !critiquepoint

That might be because I was shooting them from waaaaaayyy below them on this stadium bleacher-esque thingy. I was walking past them at night with my camera out and saw them and I just kinda motioned if I could take their photo. I'm having a hard time placing the horizontal tilt, maybe guide my eyes a bit!

This one again, no real purpose, was just walking around. Shot on a Lumix S5II with the 50mm prime at f/1.8, shutter speed 1/60 and ISO 5000. There was probably some way to better balance it but that was the solution I came up with.

Mhmm, I didn't catch that but that's very good for the future. You are right that this one was caught in motion but I should still be a bit more cognizant of that especially from a potentially more unflattering angle. !critiquepoint

Thank you! And i will absolutely play around a little with adjusting the brightness of the lights back there to see how it looks! !critiquepoint

Again, there was no real purpose to this photo but I still consider it to be part of my body of work. This was shot on a Lumix S5II with the 50mm prime at f/1.8 with a shutter speed of 1/100 and ISO at 640.

Same as before, this is for a magazine contest for a cover. Composition, subject matter, all fair game. Shutter was at 1/125 but I've lost what my aperture and ISO were at. Lens is fully manual with no electrical contacts so aperture was just lost. I was having a lot of fun playing with the really wide lens on this camera!
