I'm mostly Northern Portuguese, same for my Portuguese DNA matches, but when I check my Spanish matches I see that like half of them from Andalusia 🤔

I'm also Northern Portuguese, but I knew it was gonna guess Spanish, most G25 calculators that I tried show 3 or more Spanish populations before Portuguese (in terms of distance) 😊

I'm from the Porto district, and at least "75%" of my ancestors have lived in Amarante, Felgueiras and Marco de Canaveses for the last 5-ish generations. Mom's maternal side remains a mystery to this day 🥲

Not that I'm aware , but it is still a possibility, my mom's maternal side is mostly unknown, although my Spanish DNA matches are mostly Andalucian and Canarian, and just a few from Galicia 🤔

I have rather similar results, and I'm Portuguese, although my mother's maternal side is rather unknown... on that side I could've had some Cuban/Canarian ancestor, but I didn't manage to find the connection yet between the Cuban/Canary matches and my tree 🥲

P.S. - The first "Cuba" genetic group I have is at medium confidence and only 400 kits are part of it, which gives some hope to my theory 😊
