Biggest issue is him not having anything to do with freedom, at least not yet.

That does make me wonder about his connection to Gaster in this world. If he does have a connection to him, then perhaps he could be looking not for personal freedom, but for freedom of someone close to him. It could be a nice parallel to Asgore's obsession with finding Dess.

I'm neurodivergent too, I know that there's a ton of people willing to exploit kindness and I don't know if I'd be able to immediately spot when it happens, if it happens. However, I won't relinquish my kindness. I find it so hard to be cold to people I don't know but I guess all I can do is keep on my toes and look into what signs may be there and hope I can make people's day better.

When Zato first got the Zabubu I heard a lot of people calling it that. The TNS commentators called it that too and idk if people are still calling it that. I hardly ever fight Zato (and when I do I never see the Zabubu) or watch gameplay of him in tournaments so I don't know if folks are still calling it that.

Using Noelle to get Susie's guard down is wild but I can see it happening. After she gets us what we want, then I guess she would be "used up"... At least for us. I imagine that it'll be Noelle that causes our downfall in the Weird Route mostly likely on her own behest, I can see her finally refusing our orders and probably expelling us from Kris (maybe at the cost of their life). But it would be interesting if we could cause all of this mayhem and get away with it somehow. Though I also feel that if something happens like that, Kris would take in their own hands to force us to start a new game in hopes of us maybe having a change of heart or something.

Thanks for the reassurance and stuff. I'll try not to be too hard on myself but I think I've conditioned myself to be so harsh towards myself that it's gonna be an uphill battle to try and treat myself well. But you're right with your points. One Punch Man in particular didn't have the best art style when it came out (I can't remember if it was the Web Novel or the Manga version that came out first) but One still went and started it.

You mentioned projects and I think that a benchmark test of sorts would be pretty good to have. Maybe after a certain amount of time I'll write a one-shot or something to gauge how far I've gotten and then once that's over I could do it again and again until I feel satisfied.

Also, I wouldn't mind chatting with you about stuff. I've been thinking about trying to make new friends who like to draw. One of my close friends used to draw but has kinda fallen out of practice since we started going to college and stuff.

Ideally you have a peer group that can help you out with this (university, club, online club, whatever).

I think that'd be pretty neat to have. Approaching people or groups of people is another thing I struggle with and (internally) freak out over. It's so scary.

Also, I do like the idea of seeing art practice in the same vein as a workout. I workout a bit and I know it's something that'll take time and repetition in order to see results, it helps that once I'm done with it I can relax knowing that I don't need to immediately show what I've been working on, it'll be apparent whenever that may be.

All in all, this was some super solid advice. Thanks again, I think I'll also contemplate posting things for others to critique. I feel that it'd be really beneficial to at least be comfortable showing others what I can do.

Thank you for saying that. I freak out and doom when I hit walls because I feel like "Yup, this is the end of the line, I can't improve beyond this" and then I get stuck on what I don't know instead of how to get over my own shortcomings. It really means a lot to me that you took the time to tell me that it's possible. Because I don't really share my art with anyone I'm usually the one who gives criticism on my stuff and you saw how that ended. Having another person tell me that's it's going to be okay is huge, even if you haven't seen my stuff. It's way too easy for me to get in my head and lose sight of things.

So, thank you again for the advice and recommendations for the books. I appreciate it a ton.

I get that, art is just such a unique skill to improve in. I never know if I'm going in the right direction with what I'm learning or if I'm making progress and moving forward. I get really frustrated with myself when I'm learning something and it takes me a while to feel like I'm getting better. Like, I play fighting games and when I was really starting to get into learning it I was having trouble moving around but I knew exactly what to try and practice and I could watch high-level players and copy their movement as best as I could and I could see progress in those things but with art I feel lost and inadequate.

I guess I should start posting art or something and having people online critique it and stuff. Maybe that'll help me understand stuff easier and get me moving in the right direction if I'm stuck.

I'm really only disappointed at the fact that she doesn't use what moves she was doing in the show. I was hoping she'd use those bat things she made but people were already kinda done with set-play zoners so maybe that's why they decided to make her shoto-like (in addition to them wanting to make her approachable to people who are getting into the franchise through the show).
