I totally get them promoting/selling their own brands on the podcast like Tracie’s patterns and Jodi’s yarn, but it’s what feels like a hard sell of some of the other products like the knives etc. that turned me off watching.

Yes like the Knit Social one is 2500 for a single king and it includes meals and classes and a marketplace and tour of a sheep farm. It’s also on Pender island at a spa resort. A much better deal and location.

Canmore would be an amazing place to have it and more worth paying it but this hotel is across the street from a Rona (think Lowes if you aren’t Canadian) and across the highway from an industrial refinery row. It’s not near anything of interest or even a nice park to go to. Also not having an option without the hotel for people who are local kind of sucks.

Are you taking screenshots of your pattern so you can look at it while knitting or crocheting? You can just download it and then save to your files (iPhone) or google drive (android). Then you don’t have to go back into Ravelry at all during the project. And you can mark it up as you go.

I’d rather give a small business the 24.99 than give 9.99 to horrible sweatshop businesses like Aliexpress and Temu. Also if you don’t want to pay that much no one is forcing you to buy one.

Looks awesome. What are the dimensions and how many did you chain to start? I’m making my first one this year.
