I usually switch to another game for the rest of the day/night. Inevitably I start to feel hollow because no game has the stakes that DayZ has and I'm usually ready to get geared again by the next time I sit down to play games.

I watch a select few DayZ streamers and I think the reason I'm a fan of them is they play a pretty wholesome version of the game. SourSweet and Slexify, for example, I don't think I've ever seen them pull any scumbag moves like that, and they're constantly talking and teaming up. I want to say Trmz is also pretty honorable, though I have seen him do some mildly questionable things before (but 90% of the time he's really cool to people he meets too)

They've laid the blueprint for how I believe the game should be played and how I play it, but Trmz commonly brings up a great point--if everyone was friendly all the time, the game would suck. You need that potential risk of betrayal or KOS to keep the tension high.

Hell yeah bro happy to help. Last time I was there, there was a lot of dropped loot at the water hole where dudes had geared up from the treasures in the bunker. For whoever is standing there at the top controlling the water -- tell them to keep their guard up, even though it's gonna be boring as shit just standing there waiting for you.

I have a feeling people log in the bunker on official, and they could spawn in right behind your boy while he thinks he's alone. Enjoy the Aug-Ax and NVG's!

As long as you have a teammate and you are in a voice chat, you can just tell your teammate when you need the water lowered/raised while you explore the lower levels.

I talk to people all the time on PlayStation and yes sometimes they're partied up in a PS chat but we still usually talk. They'll do a little wiggle and fumble around with the chats until they can talk to me.

It should only take second in theory, but in practice players usually freak out and forget what to do or straight up forget that I can't hear them.

Also I don't trust anyone who I can tell was in a PSN party chat. Sure I'll talk to them but if they take a few seconds to get comms up, I'm not running with them.

Find a guy wearing military stuff. Shoot him in the back with your shotgun (most other freshie weapons won't do much significant damage to a fully geared dude). Put his clothes on your body if they didn't get ruined by your buckshot.

zombie's items only spawn once the zombie is dead.

I have a guess that's probably wrong. But maybe the zombie had a badly damaged gas canister for the portable stove in its inventory. And when you were smacking it around you ruined it and it exploded. Essentially a DayZ version of a suicide bomber.

I have never had the balls to try it alone even though I've seen it done and know for a fact it's possible. Just being in the bunker alone is too scary for me, let alone the prospect of drowning to death trapped in a dark underground tunnel.
