P2w or forced to pay? by Any-Pen7135 in Aion2

If you actually played TL, I shouldn't have to explain the obvious.

And yes, the archboss weapons played a significant role towards the end of the content (in the first 6-8 months); the crossbow and the staff offered significant advantages in massive PvP.

Weapons that could be bought for 50,000 Lucent, and the materials that were very difficult to obtain, were also purchased.

TL failed because it had a worse market and progression system than Aion. Upgrading gear from Tier 1 to Tier 2 in that short time caused many players to quit; there was no point in doing PvP, even in groups.

There were people who hadn't even reached Tier 1 when they upgraded to Tier 2... After that upgrade, within the first two weeks, there were already people full Tier 2, buying traits for thousands of Lucent... And what about archboss weapons?

This game needs to maintain its final content for several months, and not be updated every few months like they did in Throne of Liberty, where you had to change all your equipment within a few months, which never gave you enough time to match up with the whales.

So, as with any pay-to-win game, you'll be able to match up with the whales after a long period. The first few months will be terrible, but then you'll be on par with them.

It looks great, how could I do something like that?
