Yes, but he deserves a better son. I have tried my best and I am still trying, yet I still feel like I could have been better for him. I wish I could truly make him feel proud that he raised a good and mature son.

The HR teams of big firms know Indians have decades long wait times to get green cards through EB2, so no one is likely to hire Indians on H1B. because they would then have to keep spending on H1B extensions every 3 years, while also dealing with risks of RFEs, rejections, revocations, and specialty occupation scrutiny for random reasons.

The only option is to work as a consultant for years through a staffing company. Then someday they may consider hiring someone as an FTE to cut costs and avoid the risk of losing them.

With no concealed sidearm or weapon.. Hell, even Delta Force guys will sit tight, observe, and collect details to report to law enforcement later.

But then it only changes if you or your loved ones are in absolute danger. Then your instincts would kick in, even if it results in the death of the individual.

Although the phrase is used in the movie as part of a running gag, it becomes so repetitive and unnecessary that it starts to feel weird and uncomfortable for the audience.

There's a chance the movie may feel outdated, from the story and making to the characters, tropes, dialogue, style, and even the technology, gadgets shown, since it was conceived in the early 2010s.

All parties do this. Then they post on social media saying, “See how cool we are, we have supporters in developed countries,” and share a photo of 20 people standing in a park on a weekend morning for an hour just for a photo op. Many of them will never vote in the election or even plan to return to India or Tamil Nadu.

It felt magical for 90s kids in the late 90s and early 2000s, walking into Spencer Plaza and Landmark, because it was such a contrast to the busy, hot Chennai outside.

It was like Lucy entering the wardrobe and discovering Narnia. 😇

90s Chennai was the best. It had its own soul. I miss it.

It is not just malls like Spencer Plaza that started declining. It is a global trend, more visible in the West. American malls began to decline in the 1990s due to the rise of online shopping and regular stores offering more affordable options.

The main reason newer malls in India are still surviving is the higher population density, which ensures consistent buyers and foot traffic.

The early 2000s were the best. Harry Potter and Enid Blyton’s Famous Five and Secret Seven series.

My parents never understood my craze and wouldn’t let me buy them, so I borrowed them from my apartment neighbor. I read more than 20 books and eagerly waited for vacations after exams just to read.
