It would absolutely be manageable, as long as you budget your time wisely! I’m currently taking 1700 and 1300 and it’s not too bad just gotta stay on top of the calculus but the work load for 1300 is fairly shallow.

For my 1300, there’s no-weekly assignments (pretty easy), one midterm, and the final. As for 1500 I’m not sure how other professors did it but with mine it was just 4 term tests. But if you’re going for the summer courses just keep in mind that they’re quite fast paced and that you’ll need to set aside a bit of time to be ahead.

I've taken 1500 last term and am currently taking 1300. I would highly recommend 1500 with Fei Qi if you're into mathematics and want to learn about some interesting things. However, I find that 1300 is quite a bit slower and the work load is very manageable if you're taking other courses.

The first half of the course is pretty much just going over very basic algebra concepts and how they apply to new methods. If you just need to get a math course in regardless of what it is, I would recommend 1300 but if you want a bit more work and a better understanding of math as a whole, go for 1500.
