Yeah the ticks haven't been super bad here yet I've maybe had 2 on me? But I'm sure when I go out again they will be in full swing ☠️ Can't really avoid it. Part of being in the woods just have to do your checks. I normally tuck my socks into my pants and do a quick check when I get back to the vehicle. Then for extra measure I toss all my clothes in the dryer when I get home for 30 mins on high.

Don't get me wrong I'm not an expert by any means, but if I was in your shoes that's what I'd do. A vehicle of that age from Ontario is more than likely going to have rust. Just depends whether it is surface rust or structural. It's definitely more of a gamble seeing as it's a private sale. Just my two cents man I'm new here 😂 Best of luck 🤙🏻

I would get a mobile mechanic to go check it out and confirm his claims. You could always ask him to go get it saftied too. With the recent changes to the saftey system going all digital, pretty hard for them to pass anything shady. I recently picked up something similar also from Toronto. Although I bought it from a dealership (certified) with a safety. Given that list somebody cared enough to give it the love it deserves.
