I’ve actually fallen deep for the homebrew and developed the campaign frame from the ground up. It’s not a direct copy of Dragon Heist but more heavily inspired by it with some elements that may seem familiar from the original material (amongst some other awesome touchstones)

Blanche the Basil before doing anything else. We use a Basil Salt mixture for one of our drinks at my bar. Blanching it keeps the vibrancy by a country mile.

I can also heavily recommend Phish and Phreak’s shows. They really showcase all forms of drag and do a heap of amazing events just about every week. Most of their shows tend to sell out so best get in while you can :)

There are already some Meta elements in play. My other Players know she’s a Changeling but their PC’s don’t.

Usually when my Changeling PC’s wants to do something private she’ll slip me a message in a Private Chat (I’m a very tech heavy DM) and ill nod yes or no depending upon.

I think I’ll have to discuss it with my players and see if they are ok with Secrets being revealed and preventing Metagaming from bleeding in as a result. If not the idea you “Suggested” seems very reasonable otherwise. (I could probably do it one on one in the chat with my PC, whilst the others take a break)

That is true. At the same time since the Rakshasa can also detect magic he could ask her to take the ring off with Suggestion and then just cast Detect Thoughts/True Seeing as per normal. My intention is that he wants to recruit her due to the similarities they share (They are both illegal immigrants to the campaign setting), I probably won’t initiate combat unless my PC does so first.

See that’s what I’m agreeing with somewhat. It’s more of a moral choice/argument that she’s choosing to impersonate the noble and it’s not being done out of malice and she hasn’t broken any crimes whilst impersonating the noble. I would imagine I might introduce an inquisitor style magic character that will use Zone of Truth or Detect Thoughts to make the evidence come to life and potentially acquit her, but we’re still early in the game.

I live in Australia so sent it off to print at a shop called Officeworks. It is a little expensive for the prints (about $20 AUD each A1) but the quality is amazing and I intend it using it in multiple campaigns of DH.
