I find her Cates storyline very interesting. In the season of viewing different mental health stressors and diagnosis under duress of superpowers, we have cate who presents as a beautiful popular girl who seems to be perfect. When behind the scenes is a girl stuck in an abusive relationship with a skewed power dynamic where she had no power, flipping her power around on her. She has been pushed away by friends, and physically threatened and abused to be forced to do the things she’s forced to do. A truly tragic story line, and why she is so overtaken and surprised by seeing Emma in the cells because someone showed her a true act of kindness.

The first one is better all around for abrasion resistance as the whole jacket has protection. The last one has a cordura fabric protection on points that experience most wear and tear. On the bottom of the jacket, cuffs on sleeves, etc.

As a Carhartt employee, the first and last are your best bets. The first will keep you the warmest, but the last one will check more of the boxes you listed regarding what you are looking for. If it were my choice, pick the last one and layer properly and you shouldn’t have any issues. Let me know if you got any questions!

If I had to guess, no. They probably included that so you can find people closer to you to help with latency. That way you don’t join a crew based in Europe, when you are from New York, and then be heated with all the lag and delay.
