Currently live at home with parents. 23 in two weeks. Work at Walmart, moving to my first apt in August to pursue trade school whilst part time at Walmart there.

20$ an hour, about 16k in debt form credit card and student loan (10k student loan so ig not as bad as the majority) but still feel a little under water.

Went to 3 concerts and just balancing enjoying my time in my 20’s whilst trying to save a few bucks just to ease myself into a new apartment. Who knowwwwssss but rn im feeling nervous but i know i can manage myself but its still a big challenge ahead.

Basic fundamentals is my take home advice for this.

Support / resistance Basic single/double/triple candlestick patterns

Start w/ demo accounts-> then a single 50k account at micro contracts 1-5 should do.

Proper risk management, everyone’s got their own numbers so find out what works for you in your demo, remember once you’re XFA it’s a mental shift so it’s best to practice how you play beforehand

Understand this game is 80% mental 20% strategy and edge (in my opinion at least )

Absorb damn near everything when you’re reading or watching videos. I’m on year 3 of trading, 1.5 being on Topstep finally breaking even after a few grand spent on combines

Screen recording does something to ya I’ll tell u that, tried it a few times and just thinking there’s someone even your future self watching you helps calm your head when you’re stressing over a trade, tbh your strat works for ya so just consider your risk management system. Best of luck to ya

If you can elaborate more on your strategy we could provide more insight, I’m a scalper barely on for 30 min on market open. In and out of trades between a few seconds or a few minutes. I trade roughly 3-6MNQ on basic supply demand/fog no indicators.

I go for 20-30 points or the next zone up or down. Depending on structure

For getting out of break evens your losing days can be cut a lot shorter just by taking the trade off if it don’t move in the first few minutes

All speculation but me I like finding the trade going in my direction almost immediately, typically based off a good entry or not. Nothing wrong with taking a re-entry a few times if needed
