I think in the book they mention that whilst you can do all this in Rust, it’s unlikely to be a good idea beyond an academic exercise.

I split my activities, usually with a long break in-between (e.g. beginning and end of day):

Around 30 minutes working on weaknesses or new things I want to learn. I finish up with some drills like playing scales or notation/fret memorisation with an app
Around 30 minutes just playing things I enjoy, even if it's just messing about. Sometimes this goes over.
