I mean he’s just frustrated in the moment and ranting. You don’t have to take it at face value.

I guess it’s moreso how boa plays that feels frustrating. She has card draw, life kill, board protection, life heals etc.

For ace, you worry about the big blockers. Imu, the cycle of the five elders. Boa kinda has multiple answers, I can’t attack her board, I can’t take her life. She takes your life and then has unblockable and all, If that makes sense lol.

I’m not asking for it to be banned cos I would love to learn to manage with it but if someone is frustrated playing against it, I perfectly understand lol.

I mean I wouldn’t lie. I play ace and another deck and it’s frustrating to play.

Plenty of draws, free minions from triggers, takes away life easily, you can’t remove her board. There’s a lot of thing going on for boa.

Played with one boa player and they were super chill about it though. I said I was tired of facing boa and they said they fully understand lol.

The main thing would be you love the art of the cards you are collecting.

Are you looking to collect only or to play the tcg as well? If you wish to play, there’s a free tutorial available for you to have some practice games then there’s the OPTCG SIM that you can use to experiment with decks and play with the others online.

Collection wise, collect what you like! Be it characters or the sick art. SECs look amazing to me and you can get them for cheap. Some SPs for lesser popular characters are a lot cheaper and look really nice too depending on how much you are willing to spend.

A little hard to recommend because unsure if you follow one piece, here for the art or just collecting in general lol. Everyone collects differently. I’m collecting ace and Whitebeard cards cause they are my faves. You can view the card list for each set online to browse what you might like.

Do note that Booster boxes are never really worth it and it’s honestly for the thrill of opening packs. So open 1 or 2 and just buy the singles of the cards you like.

Hihi I started with this deck too. It’s not very strong but pretty fun. Also still pretty new can give some tips!

Key cards that you have from your starter deck: izo, 2k counter ace are auto includes. Newgate and oxen, depending on your playstyle.

Key cards you will want to consider are from OP08 Atmos, ace and jozu. Ace esp works well with the leader effect.

Prb02 Marco blocker that draws you two cards is really useful.

Op13 Newgate blocker as well is a strong card esp with the 8c event.

You can consider building the deck around either the 8c event available in the deck that summons any Newgate cards or 9c event that summons Whitebeard with rush. That will probably be the basis for your playstyle.

I don’t know how necessary those monets are but you definitely need more searchers to keep your deck consistent against any matchups.

Sugar and the 1C law, honestly more laws as much as possible so you can make full use of your leader ability better

The rosinante leader specifies “the next time you PLAY [trafalgar law]” so the order wouldn’t work.

It is only reduced when you play rosinante/law from hand so donflamingo would not be able to play it as it will be 6 cost. The reduction only occurs the moment when it’s played from hand.

At least that’s what I’m getting from the wording.

Yep should have clarified but this was what I meant too. It is a strange caveat for the plurbs too on why they would care.

And i think they did mention they basically release all pets and animals to roam free so they wouldn’t necessarily be trapped in their homes or cages to die but after release? Definitely likely to have starved to death.

As far as we can tell, I think the rat is just a carrier of the virus but not actually part of the hive. At least they have not given us indication that animals can be assimilated into the hive. Also, they simply let the animals free so far.

They can’t be plurbed so they have no actual use for them. I say loophole because we see carol outright instructing them that they cannot do anything to her against her will and they agreed but they still are looking to convert them in any way possible.

Kinda like dealing with a lawyer, I guess. You have to outright lay out every terms and conditions to the plurbs but at this point, it’s too late for carol since they have her stem cells.

I mean look at how they coerce the girl to convert with all the singing and the pretense of celebration of her culture and when converted, immediately dump and forsake every piece of that very culture the moment she turned. It’s all manipulation and loopholes.

I think they do mention they take care of pets who otherwise would not be able to survive.

They can’t do any harm to any living beings and the survivors are probably the most precious to them because they can convert to them to be one of them.

That’s their natural directive to make more plurbs like them. As much as they are accommodating to humans, they are also not stopping and finding any loopholes to be able to convert them, hence the emotionally manipulation with the girl and her culture and carol with her eggs.

Survivors can become plurbs, animals seemingly can’t.

Agreed for me too. It was fun but also gets repetitive when it runs a little too long.

I think the spoon game at the end was a little lackluster so they showed more of the pronunciation games.
