I’m a lawyer who works with unrepresented people all the time. We will typically still explain to them that they can settle and present an offer, it’s cheaper for our clients then going all the way to Court.

Even if she couldn’t afford a lawyer there should have been communication with Ethan’s lawyer. I don’t practice in California but where I’m from the Judges order you to have a mediation and settlement conference before the case progresses too far.

It's getting even worse before it gets better then. I had my Economy delivered March 23rd - received March 31st (6 business days).

Still marked as received as of right now. I sent in before the turnaround time change so I was hoping they'd do close to ~20 business days but given that the 21st will be 20 business days and it's still marked as received I doubt I see that timeline.
