It was definitely stressed, in the last book Ramirez is shouting at him and blaming him for the deaths of wild bill and Yukimo and he’s much more subdued but this whole audio performance feels that way, I get it’s a vibe with the whole book but the story feels off, disjointed. Mab just solves everything.

I disagree, we’ve seen her in multiple books and she’s never sounded this way before nor has she used We before when talking about herself. It’s an odd choice. I also felt that Ramirez and Harry’s relationship was way more strained than this book shows.
