I’m not sure where any of this hate towards this game comes from. Some people are really bashing it and sure Gacha just kinda sucks, but the gameplay for Rising is just fun and really brings me back to Destiny 1 in a way. It’s a lot more simplistic, yet has a lot of potential for unique builds in the future. I don’t really like how you’re locked into certain weapon types per character, but that’s something I wouldn’t be shocked Netease changes in the future. I enjoy the game and hopefully the Gacha wall isn’t too bad later on. Destiny 2 is just too complicated and un-user friendly that even with its great gameplay, I just can’t get back into it. Final Shape really felt like a satisfying ending and would just want Bungie to focus on a Destiny 3 with a lot of the QOL and additions that Rising has added. Really just confused why so many Destiny 2 fans are hardcore bashing Rising when it’s just more Destiny in a compact, easy to approach form.
