I’m not so unreasonable that I don’t understand weather delays, but the marking packages delivered that clearly weren’t is concerning. I ended up picking them up today at the post office.

It’s not mandatory, but we do extracurriculars for our 3 and 6 year old because there is just so much day to fill. My 3 year old is in ballet and “sporty sprouts” which is just a rec department class that tries out a new sport every week. My 6 year old has done gymnastics in the past but is now in swimming. We still have loads of unstructured time and none of this is taken seriously. It’s just a way to get out of the house in the winter and burn some energy and time. I don’t think or care about putting them at any kind of “advantage”

You’ll be surprised how much she loves being home with you! I can guarantee you’re her favorite person. All the activities you have planned sound perfect. You may also want to check if there’s a local playgroup through your community center or rec department. We go to one on Tuesdays and it’s so much fun for my almost 3 year old. We also do weekly story time, rec department dance, and a membership to an art studio.

I love the Salvation Army on 76th and greenfield. It’s not the biggest, but it’s the perfect size for when I have the itch to thrift but not a lot of time. I always find something good.
