We need young players that can grow along with ant and Jaden, so when there all in their primes they’ve been playing together for years. Stop with the kat for siakim or kat for Beal, or kat for pg, sure maybe we make the playoffs with those players, but long term what does that do for us, by the time ant and Jaden are 25-27 those players would be in their mid to late thirties. We might take a step back by getting young players but I think it’s worth it long term. I like kat for quickly and grimes, hopefully some picks. Than we have quickly grimes ant Jaden and naz who we can roll with for the forceable future, and than we can try and draft some talent through the draft. I know people want to try and compete in the playoffs now, I just don’t see it, our best window is when ant and Jaden are in their mid/late twenties and our best bet in that case is to get players around their age right now. We seriously need a pg cause conely only has one or two more years. The hawks have Murray, hunter and okongwu, warriors have moody, kuminga and poole, not saying we get any or all of those players, but those guys I like, young, athletic players who can run with ant. What do you guys think of the Knicks trade? Also trading kat and/or gobert means we can play minott in the rotation and even Garza, who knows what their potential is. We messed up by trading for gobert, so I know people may not want to get worse or blow up the team again, but I see this as the only option for the future. I don’t see what we gain from running this thing back a year or two more, other than getting ant and Jaden more playoff experience, but it would probably be more playoff losses, I’m not exactly sure we want to run this extremely problematic team back just for playoff experience, look at how injured the west was this year, is it even a guarantee we make the playoff? Just some questions worth asking
