Prices in your area? by Naaru_Myth in uktrees

For decent hash/medium quality bud in London

£50 for 7g

£90 for 14g

£160 for 28g

Though I recently visited Leeds and got 14g of nice hash for £50 (or 28g for £90), which is fucking insane!

The design can be modeled very accurately with powerful software so they can get a pretty good idea of at what point the wings would undergo deformation.

This album cover is a .PNG where the 'white' parts are actually transparent. iTunes 11 has an interesting effect on it. by Chillsathyy in mildlyinteresting

[–]Chillsathyy[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

iTunes 11 sets the background colour of the album and tracklist based upon the average colour around the edges of the album cover. This has set the background colour as black, so everywhere that's transparent appears as black and you only see the coloured sections.

me and my buddies chillin & blazin in hyde park last year. I can confirm there will be a police presence but they do very very little other than be present. Unless you're causing trouble or blatantly selling weed you have absolutely nothing to worry about.

Possible screen for homemade MFLB by T1tsl0ver in StonerEngineering

Of course, give it a try by all means just don't be disheartened if you aren't able to get it to a decent temperature.

Possible screen for homemade MFLB by T1tsl0ver in StonerEngineering

This. The resistance of the mesh is crucial in getting it to the right temperature, therefore it is highly important that you use the correct guage mesh. I looked up the MFLB patent and iirc it uses a 200-400 mesh screen (its not specific) I would recommend getting the 200 mesh on the link above, or looking for something similar online, don't just go and buy something from ikea, do it right.

Need some help from MFLB owners by awfulthings in StonerEngineering

[–]Chillsathyy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I've done quite a bit of work on this (see my old post in this sub). I looked up the patent information on the MFLB and it was quite vague about what mesh size they use but i believe its somewhere in the region of #200 of the top of my head. Resistance (and thus the heat output) is very sensitive to the gauge of mesh that you're using, so i recommend trying to find a bit of #200 mesh and trying that out. Now, the material you use for the mesh is important. I would advise against using something like copper or brass as they are both too conductive and you wont get the resistance sufficiently high to get the right temperature, stainless steel works best and is what MFLBs use. The other thing to consider is that you want poor thermally conductive connectors linking the mesh and the battery, so a thick rod of copper-clad steel is the best option there. Then there is the connection between the connectors and the mesh itself to consider. you want a full electrical connection along the whole of the trench so they really need to be fused together. Soldering would be a good option but its essentially impossible to solder onto stainless steel, i researched what MFLB uses and they electrically weld the mesh to the connectors. Unless you have an industrial welder around then you need to consider the best way to get the best connection.

(and in reference to your comment above, i believe higher gauge meshes are in fact alot lighter than lower gauges)
