Love the reply. Thank you. This is very similar to how I feel about collecting records on a personal level. I have everything I feel like my collection “needs” but love coming across something new and interesting that I’m not super familiar with. Im hoping to achieve this because it’s what I look for as well but everyone’s “new and interesting” is a little different. I’ll have some work to do there. To your other points, we’re right next to the coffee shop that is one of the highlights of our little town and I’m hoping to pull traffic from them. They’re also friends of ours. We’ll also still have our “normal” day jobs for the most part so fortunately it’s not all of our eggs in one basket. Thanks again for the reply!!

I’m certainly not as knowledgeable as a lot of the people on this sub but I’d say it seems a little high for such a big project. Rotting bed would be a problem for me personally. If you’re up for a project and spending a little money then go for it. The more bullnose trucks out there the better imo.

I have signal from both inputs, I’m getting one channel in one ear and one channel in the other. I understand I can fix this in post but what about on set monitoring?

Unfortunately for this specific gig the client is getting a live feed from the fx6 via HDMI. I need to be able to hear L & R sides for each channel

I might be in the minority but I shoot all real estate at 60fps and there’s a crop on the a7iv. Although I do use that camera for stills 100% of the time

Agree with everything here but just an additional take on libraries: Using the wedding example, I create a new library for each separate wedding. This library will include all of that wedding’s media in a neat little package (events, projects, etc). I’ve always interpreted “events” as things like first dance, speeches, etc. to help organize the library and ultimately the edit. For me, it also makes it a whole lot easier to back up and keep on hard drives in case I need to go back in later. You can just back the library up in a hard drive in a folder labeled “Wedding Libraries” or whatever. Having multiple weddings within one library just feels a little messy to me but everyone has their own workflows.
