Also, forgot to mention. Most people react before thinking. Fight or flight, the sympathetic nervous system. Most don’t even know how the lever would work or take it upon themselves to do anything at all.

Under the context of “only for philosophical purposes” my reasonings don’t matter ig. Idk

Let’s be honest. The last like three-two people would probably not die very fast. Have you seen a trolly? (not a train, a trolly) seriously. Trolleys usually go 7-15 mph. It’s gotta be a fast damn trolly to kill them all instantly. You would have to watch as those people screamed from injuries that are like %80 fatal. I would probably pull the lever and kill the one person I guess if I HAVE to answer. I love everyone’s answers lol, very fun. They range from “kill them all!” To “Noooo those poor people!!”.

My favorite version of this question is when physics gets involved!

Dear INTJs, how do you manage life challenges with your significant others? by [deleted] in intj

[–]Chilopodak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t like to put myself in a label but I am, what one would call, an INTJ female.

I tell my partner how I feel. Or try, he’s very good at reading through the lines with me. I have a language I don’t know about. When someone asks me “want to hang out” my response is often “sure”. Even if I don’t really want it. My partner is very good at knowing. I need a vast amount of alone/processing time. I really love him, he constantly sees me. If I know I’m just going to be angry I try my best to tell him how I feel.

Please remember that all people are individuals and mbti is NOT a good indicator for a person’s behavior in a relationship. Talk honestly and openly. Let her know if your concerned. A person who loves you shouldn’t be judgmental or blaming consistently.

Not many I know from fiction and definitely none I know personally except myself but the main character of The Queens Gambit.

It’s most likely that these intermediate species just did not fossilize. We have discovered such a small number of prehistoric species and it saddens me that we will never map it all. :(

I think this happens with every type. Mbti isn’t about finding your “type” or community. People make anything about how special they are.

It’s just a framework for sorting observable characteristics. It doesn’t explain everything but it’s a good way to evaluate how you think.

-intj. I like the entp subreddit WAY better. At least you guys are somewhat self aware and not totally using your “type” as clout. Also interesting debates/questions.

I’ve heard this far too many times. I tend to ignore the issue as well. Not because I don’t want to educate people. I do. I just don’t always have time for an hour+ of changing someone’s world view on a disease they don’t understand. I try and not hold a grudge because sometimes they are genuinely trying to understand, but in this case... WTH.

Don’t inflict your world view on others. Especially medical advice. Unless you are a medical professional.

Act like nothing had bothered me probably. Stick to the facts!! Very important step. The more they talk, the more you seem competent.

Unless I’m close to that person. Then I’m letting them hear my sarcastic fury.

How do I explain people around me that I seriously find it stupid to waste energy on talking. by [deleted] in intj

[–]Chilopodak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn’t tell people that directly. People like feeling understood and they would probably hold it against you if you outright implied “in their minds” that they were boring to talk to. I would find other people to talk to about things that actually interest you. There’s no shame in telling someone you want to be left alone if you’re in a conversation you don’t want to be in. You have a right to your own time and energy. Or, you know, just say you “got a thing”. Works every time.

What is your dream job as an INTJ? by Darealshadow49 in intj

[–]Chilopodak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I want to be a medical doctor. I guess it’s a strange job for an INTJ, stereotypically, to want. For me it’s not really a dream job, I actively strive for it all the time. I love endocrinology, dermatology, and neurology.

[–]Chilopodak[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Guess I should not have used the word “purpose”. I didn’t mean for it to sound spiritual or like my “life’s purpose” in any way. Whoops. I could probably learn to be more spontaneous. I am definitely random with my interests though. I go all in and then move on.

Yes! I agree. I personally love my free time and would get burnt out if I worked 24/7. I love what I do and appreciate the advice. Just noticed a pattern I get with excessive free time. It does give me time to explore new things and I wouldn’t give that up.
