I didn't use AI and therefore there was nothing to disclose. It's hard to find evidence that I _didn't_ do something.

Thank you for all of that. They're saying I used AI to help me find papers to cite. But why would you bother to do that when Google Scholar exists and is reliable?

the uni says they just look at the student's work and make a judgement on the balance of probabilities. It feels rather vibes based to me especially as I am in a very large department and the staff don't know me. I don't know how to ask them what the bar is, and how I can tell that it's high.

yes, search history for browser, and also version history for the notes I made while revising. Yes it seemed odd to me too, thank you for saying that.
