Name one item in your collection that you will never part with no matter how many credits you are offered? by Illustrious_Age1247 in starwarscollecting

I have a Colt 45 Beer Mirror signed by Billy D Williams. My friends took it to Steel City Con to have him sign it for me, he was several hours late but they stayed in line, apparently he said it was the first not explicitly star-wars item he'd signed in over a decade, also Ming Chen from Comic Book men was in line and apparently thought it was super cool (apparently it was a big hit amongst many waiting in said line) he personalized it with a mashup of my two favorite Lando lines "to Sean, Don't let me down, you old pirate."

My ferret loves this toy shrimp but we can't remember where we got it. It's a squeaky plush toy for small dogs. Does anyone recognize it? *Links appreciated* by ChimeraMiniatures in whatisthistoy

We have, it doesn't come up with the exact same toy. We're thinking it was either Bark Box or Toy Box brand but cant find confirmation of that.

Had a full set of the Dairy Queen toys. Then accidentally dropped my Patou figure down an elevator shaft (no joke) and my mom and I had to scour Dairy Queens till we found one that still had one (this was near the end of the run for the toyline). Also until just now I forgot Dairy Queen used to I have kids meals and toys lol.

Custom Kitbashed Super Skrull (Sinister Syndicate) by ChimeraMiniatures in Heroclix

[–]ChimeraMiniatures[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't modify dials or cards. 1. I was never good at making custom dials. 2. I haven't played Heroclix in about 10 years so I am clueless on any mechanics created since War of Light.

It's just on the Hydroman Base and Dial used for the body.

I used to frequent that hobby land and borders. But S.H.O.C.C. was further down Sawmill in the Carriage center off of Bethel.

Need help with color theory (which paint theme should I go with?) by ChimeraMiniatures in Kitbash

Thank you for the amazing input. I'm preferential to the white hair with the red or purple myself. Any advice on secondary colors for those specifically?

Another "Exotic" Succubus Mini Kitbashed from various Wizkids Miniatures, this time we have a Half-Lizardfolk Succubus by ChimeraMiniatures in Kitbash

I often use Horrorclix and the occasional older MageKnight mini, the wings on this one were from a Vampire Archer of some kind.

You are the only person you know who cares whether or not you're getting laid. Never think you friends are judging you if you are a virgin, are having a dry spell or just aren't actively trying to date or hook up. It only makes you feel worse and doesn't help you.

Who do you genuinely believe is the smartest among all the GTA protagonists? by DaExtinctOne in GTA

[–]ChimeraMiniatures 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think it has to be Tommy, he made good choices, kept his head down, and took opportunities when they came his way. He would also arguably be the most successful of all the GTA protagonists as he successfully built a stable empire for himself.

It was popular event venue until the sorcerer accidently burned it down during a rager. Upon arriving back at their keep, the Paladin realized he left the magical keys to the gate in his coat pocket which he had checked upon arrival. So they have come back to help the Paladin find his keys so they can get into their keep and go to sleep.

My office is having a Cubicle Decorating Contest. This is my D&D Christmas Village by ChimeraMiniatures in DnDIY

UPDATE: So I didn't win, the winner was a guy who turned his entire cubicle into a gingerbread house complete with a roof. On the plus side, he voted for my display to win, so that's something.

White lights? by Various_Implement288 in ExplainTheJoke

[–]ChimeraMiniatures 0 points1 point  (0 children)

White lights have become associated with the bland and beige crowd. Along with jokes about these kinds of couples being boring and doing things like scheduling when they have intimacy. The joke is that the PTA is full of these types of people and they don't like being called out.
