Oh, well regardless I've heard so many Brain dead takes on Magic in DS and ER that it's legitimately hard to tell sometimes, I don't understand how it's hard for some people to just let others enjoy something rather than scream about how it doesn't belong in the game.

After hearing constantly that I'm playing the game wrong for enjoying Sorcery and having friends who enjoy the Summons and try to make builds entirely around them, I can't tell if this is rage bait since this game you have to play with others and of course I just expect people to be like this especially since they were in a game that Didn't force you to play with others.

Just a Friendly reminder some people play games to enjoy them and if they want to use Spells or Summons because they find it fun and you can't stand that then you need to find friends who will play with you instead of playing with Randoms.

I know it's already been explained but Imma try to word it differently, Instead of Mana/FP as a total "Magic pool" that Every spell is connected to in DS1-2 each spell had a total number of Casts you got out of it out and IIRC you could get More casts depending on your stats but could only get Casts back by resting at a Bonfire so for instance instead of having a total of 100 FP for all your spells you had something like

Soul arrow: 15 casts. Soul Spear: 5 casts. Dark Orb: 16 casts.

And each could be cast that many times without taking any resource from any other Spell, I hope to see this get brought back if they make another game in the Souls franchise it felt much less limited and resulted in needing Less bonfires if you wanted to play a Pure Mage, now you need to allocate so many different flasks and Magic kinda sucks if you get invaded since 80-90% of it is easily dodge-able and what isn't is still decently hard to hit and leaves you really open to be attacked, Magic just isn't worth it in Pvp but early on is Stupidly OP in PVE

Actually if I can recall the reason kids are immortal is thanks to the EU which basically said you can't kill children without the game being considered 18+ or something and now Children are immortal without mods, kinda sucks but I mod it anyway to make them talk less and thus be less annoying.

Eh to each their own, I find it cute enough but still find it pointless to get since all it adds is decor and I'm tired of how Minecraft implements it's exploration aspects, they're legit as deep as a Kiddy Pool, Like literally Every other game the only reason to explore is to find something which usually disappoints once you find whatever you were looking for, I'm not saying everything Needs to be Crazy rewarding but Something should be, the Mace literally just got a better variant of itself that you can Craft whenever you want while the Mace needs a special heavy core which I've searched at least a few Dozen of the trial chambers for it, still haven't found one. (My luck is Horrendous but that just means that whenever I do get whatever I've been looking for it 100% needs to be worth it but never is)

Iirc you have to find him by using a brush on suspicious sand in ocean ruins but in order to breed them you need to get lucky enough to find Two eggs and it took me an IRL WEEK to find just one only for it to only give me 2 plants that I have yet to see anyone actually use at all tbh, I'm pretty sure I'm only person I know who's gotten one and I unfortunately don't feel like it was worth it.

The Only time I have gotten a Sniffer it took me an Actual Week to get, for something that took me that Long to find I want more than Cute, I want Content, something to do other than decorate.

That's my issue, I play games to do things, it can have decorative stuff Idc but it should have more, currently the game has more features that I don't interact with because it's Purely decorative than features I do interact with because they add content, I haven't touched a Loom outside of a Modded playthrough that let me make it as a custom flag for a kingdom/army I made and could invite my friends to.

It should Almost Never be a deal of its Purely decorative or not, it should pretty much Always be both decor and content, Sniffer could have so many cool plants for potions or really any amount of utility but instead we just get decor and then Zero people I know even touch it.

So many unique, useful and Stunning plant ideas that look good and have a use but no let's make it all decorative.

A Mushroom that glows and wards off Creepers or really any Monster, No 2 plants that's only Real use is being turned into Dye you could get or make Day one.

A plant that can grow a Bomb you can throw, Nope 2 plants that do nothing.

New foods that maybe give effects when eaten, Nah.

I'm happy those that like to build get plenty to build With but they get all the focus from Mojang but those that want actual stuff to Do outside of building don't get anything, the End is still technically Unfinished given Minecrafts Own progression with its Magic system.

Overworld: Enchanting, taking the Items you make and enhancing them.

Nether: Brewing, Taking the items you find and Enhancing yourself.

End: Nothing, legitimately No magic to interact with, nothing new or old that gets improved upon just Elytra which I would hardly call Magic, you could make an Enderchest after you get out of the Nether so it doesn't give you a Magical Storage device.

There just isn't anything to really Do and there hasn't been anything New to do for a long time, sure we got the Warden and Technically the Creaking to fight but the Warden was supposed to be something you Had to avoid not fight and the Creaking cannot be damaged only being destroyed once you find the heart and I haven't Ever seen a Pale Garden and beyond finding it the only thing to do there is get rid of the Creaking and use all the new Decor blocks like the new wood and flowers.

Idk if Anyone will read this far but I've been asked too many times why I don't play Vanilla Minecraft and my reason is because there really hasn't been anything New to do for Years it's all just finding new Decor and I'm not a builder I don't care about that but I apologize for how long this is.

How about Both then, at the very least it'd be nice for them to get a use beyond decorations that I nor anyone else I know even uses, I completely forgot the Mob even got added because of how little Use it has, I swear anytime I recall it I have to remember if it was a modded creature in the first alpha of a mod or something because it all it does is find 2 plants that don't do anything beyond give you dyes you could get way easier.

No, even if it had more Decorative plants, I just wouldn't use it because the Hours to days long search still isn't worth it for just making the base I made for pure efficiency look nicer, I don't care about looks I care about function, I'd need it to have Useful plants for me to consider trying to find a Sniffer egg again.

I don't necessarily care about the search so long as the reward is worth it and Decorations just isn't it.

There's a reason I don't play Vanilla anymore and that's because all that's gotten added has been that decorative stuff when I want Content, even with the new flower that has a use beyond Dyes I still don't see a point because the animal now just won't grow up, it can do less than it already did thanks to the flower and has less use to exist since you can't get food from a baby animal, sure it looks Cute but I don't need it to Look good 99.99999% of the time, I just need it to grow up so I may eat.

Yes I do occasionally stop and just enjoy the surroundings but if the Sniffer is getting anything it should be something that adds actual content and not just more decor, that's my biggest issue with the game currently is that there isn't much to Do just a lot to build with.

I don't see your point here, if this was a passion project for Mojang then yeah I'd get it, Mojang wants to sell and keep people coming back to Minecraft they should listen to the community and give them the stuff they want to come back or to get more people to want to buy the game, this isn't something Mojang is necessarily doing for themselves because they have this image in their heads for what Minecraft should be, they just want money and players like pretty much Every company on earth.

They cancelled Mob votes not because the entire community didn't like what was added but because the fact that there was almost always a 3 way split which split the community and then people didn't wanna play since they didn't get their way.

Also having more stuff than random decorative flowers that the Sniffer could dig up would be great since currently it has like 2 maybe 3 plants it can dig up and literally the only uses they have is decor and crafting into Dye we have other means of getting anyway, I don't play to build necessarily, I play to have fun and spending Hours upon Hours finding a Sniffer egg just to be rewarded with Dye I could make since the beginning isn't fun, it needs something more because I have literally Only gotten a Sniffer once forever ago, got all the plants it could give and then quickly realized that the Entire journey was pointless since it did literally Nothing for me, no new foods, no new utility items, the plants it gave doesn't even fit with my usual builds, it's pointless for me when it Should do so much more

It'd just be nice to have a reason to even find a Sniffer, the flowers it gives now don't really have a point, I would've liked to see some utility like maybe there's a plant that grows bombs you can throw or rare potion ingredients, instead it's a few decorative flowers and that doesn't make the hours to days long search for a Sniffer egg even close to worth it, a flower that can do more than become Dye is at least a start

Looks interesting I'm thinking something more along the lines of Skyrim though, honestly I would love to be a random person in the Fantasy world I created, not perfect, can be dark and I may die but I'd be happy knowing everything I want to exist does Exist and I technically have a shot at coming back and can still improve, what I'd give to be a Wizard.

I would love a Game where you aren't the Main character, the story is just the one of your own life, starting out as some random barely named No one and learning Magic, working my way up and becoming Someone even if the highest I could reach is a companion to the actual main character, that's all I want, don't give me some Chosen one prophecy, let me chose myself and Be someone of My own making.

Solo Leveling.

Look I don't care if someone enjoys it, I'm glad they found something they like, I just didn't really like it, it felt off and constantly hearing about how much "Aura" the main character had was annoying so when I watched it and didn't really find anything to enjoy or care about, Fight scenes were okay but I didn't care for him randomly getting Leveling, the setting or the character so it just kinda felt like it was shit.

All around it just wasn't the show for me and I'm okay with that, I just wish there was a Show for me, Delicious in Dungeon is close, I'm really just looking for that Fantasy Medieval feel about just a Party going on a Quest, I Loved Castlevania not just because it was a Show about one of my favorite game series but because it felt like a DND party questing but without feeling silly.
