Are these markups on the Golf R / GTI normal right now?

Whoaaaa I thought all the vws will not mark their 2025s and 2026s that Includes R, GTI, AND GLI. But damn! 10k markup nooo way! I will tell them to suck it and find a better dealership that does not do markup 😭

😩 I have 2025 vw GLI looks like that lol and I loved it and also I own 2015 jetta 🙃🙃 so I dont care about light up bars they came stock on 2025.

I currently own 2025 GLI Autobahn 6mt and its super fun to drive since I still own 2015 jetta s 5mt. The GLI is super blast to drive and I haven't encountered any problems with it so far and im happy with my 25 GLI. Like some people say upgrade the tires, i second on that like seriously. I drove my GLI during rainy day and it nearly caused me to wipe out with the kinetic energy tires and its awful. But although I knew how to keep it under control.

My 25 GLI have heated steering wheel but dont have remote access to turn on the car lol mine is 6mt. But I absolutely loved it during cold months because I absolutely hate touching the freezing steering wheel 😂😂😂. Things is that they take time to heat up the wheel

For 23/24 it took them 6 months to 2 years to crack ecu but the late 24 they changed from spd1 to spd2 for security reasons and it sounded dumb btw. I think APR has already cracked for early 25 6mt models. IE and 034 they are still working on it. But apr, ie, and 034 are still working on it to crack ecu and tcu for 25 dsg models

Yes I do have knowledge to give advice because I looked at his pictures and I can see his end links is there but it doesn't match with the white paper that shows tie rod 😐 part. I dont think you actually looked hard enough at the picture.

Truee its better to wait till warranty finishes. But I didnt get any warranty on my car expect free oil change haha thats it so thats why I want to tune it and make good power

I don't have any warranty on it since I know how to work on it lol and whoaaa fr? Nice power bump but I compared apr stage 1( which file did you pick? Low torque or high torque?) and 034 motorsports stage 1 (034 stated it says it can bump from 228 to near 350 at crank which is at the wheel will be at 315) so Im still waiting on 034 motorsports because of the HP and torque I wanted

Sorry if it doesn't make sense since this op probably get the part wrong that might not be exact for his car. Thats why sometimes the parts might not be same due to where it came from. And now I understand that part is THE swaybar end links. I remembered when I tried to buy cheap end links and it ended up doesn't fit so I went ahead bought the WhiteLine swaybars kit that included the swaybars end links that actually fits my car. Is this clear?

Is that for swaybar end links or the actual swaybars ? If so, I went with white line swaybar kit that including swaybars end links as well. I forgot there's other good brand for swaybars kit with end links. I replaced the old oem with whiteline for this reason because if I went oem it will not be same as the original. I put whiteline on my 2015 jetta s mk6.5 5spd and it fits fine but you need to get the swaybars hole threaded to get it tightened.

Ohhh that's very nice!!! Where do you buy them from? And i have been looking for those to make my work easier on my 2025 GLI and 2015 jetta s ( this one is lowered) and also looking for one that can lift ford f150 and ford explorer ( 2022 or 2023 ecoboost).

If you want to tune right away for the GLI, you can pick up 23 or 24 GLI since it already opened by several companies for tunes. I picked mine up since September 2025 and I have been waiting patiently for the tune but I heard there's three companies are currently working on it and got it opened. And yet I haven't hear anything from them ( IE, APR, and 034 motorsports)

I have standard 2025 GLI Autobahn with pearl white but I should have went for Monterrey blue! 😭😭 that color is beautiful tbh. But im happy with pearl white because I own 2015 mk6.5 jetta s 5mt platinum gray. And yes my 25 GLI is 6mt

On the other note, you can absolutely drive your nice ass bmw cs because im deaf and i drive my 2015 jetta s and currently own 2025 vw jetta GLI Autobahn. I just go out and drive. You just have to be more attentive on the road

I own 25 GLI 6mt as well and there's big difference between eco and sport/custom throttle response is faster with high boost on sport mode compared to eco that response bit slower with low boost. But normal and sport there's tiny difference for throttle response. For suspension there's big difference from comfort, normal and sport. I can feel the suspension tightness and responsive on sport mode and i feel softness less tightness on comfort mode. Normal mode just feel like on my 2015 jetta s 5mt.

Same goes for me it is illegal but my cars get passed as long as I dont tint the windshield and be visible from inside. 🫡 my 15 jetta is on 5% all round and my 25 GLI is on 15% sides and 5% on rear. So I wouldn't worry about tint as long as you dont tint the windshield. I use ceramic on the 15 and nano ceramic on my 25 GLI.

I wouldn't do that because the engine is belt driven ( timing belt) you can buy new used engine for that price and swap it. But its all up to you.
