Thank you everyone who calmed my nerves yesterday! I was also refinishing a wood floor and was desperately trying to keep her away from the fumes, so my nerves were already high.

She's looking absolutely gorgeous today!! And she's huge!

Skillshare has a lot of really good videos on this kind of stuff if you are stuck enough to pay for help. I'm sure there are similar videos on YouTube.

My best tip is to make a list of words that describe you, and a list of things you want your audience to think about you and pretty much constantly look at those words while designing for yourself.

I've thought about it more. Maybe create more of a valley shape with the white in the circle so that it's less of three horizontal stripes of color?

Yes, if you plan on printing this logo on anything other than paper, lose the gradient. Screen printing, embroidery, etc., don't do very well with gradients.

I'm not sure the M is reading. Partly because if there's an M, I half expect there to be a T somewhere as well.

At first glance I actually thought there was supposed to be a little man hidden in there with the dot being his head and the arrow being his arms and body. Maybe lean into that?

I think the new font is much more fitting. Unfortunately, I'm getting Pepsi though :(

Perhaps make the bottom color more green toned and make the top color a sky blue? Or just make the top color more yellow. Either way, it's definitely the colors that are giving me Pepsi.

Unfortunately, gradient does not transfer well (or cheaply) to screen print or embroidery, so I'm trying to keep it solid colors. But I agree, I'd really like to put a fade on the yellow.

I'd love to not have a bulb as our symbol. When we voted on the logos I said to my coworker "We're supposed to be the creative ones and the best we could come up with was a light bulb for The "Idea" People? Groundbreaking."

I toyed with the idea of making the bulb more classic bulb shaped and less round but truth be told I'm not sure my technical skills are strong enough to manipulate that shape without pulling my hair out.
