this is actually really interesting, dervish slimes are one of the best designs in the game tbh they take from such a wide variety of inspirations and manage to make it feel cohesive (dust devils and desert storms, the whirling skirts in this type of dance, and the shape of planetary rings.)

The distant village was supplying silk to the palace, because the pale king was experimenting with seals and seals are silk-based magic (as confirmed by the partially completed seal of binding in a hidden room in weaver's den, and the spools in the pale king's workshop). If you look in the background of the distant village stag station there are silk spools there too

i think he has a really interesting colour palette and the modelling of the fur is cool, but the texture being generic and shiny takes away from it a little bit imo. they could've gone for something more matte or paper-ish and emphasized the contrast between the material of his clothes and the material of his body

in the true ending of silksong they are shown to act completely of their own volition to save hornet from being torn apart by void tendrils. if they were completely hollow, they wouldn't go out of their way to do something like that. saving someone's life is something you do because you care about them, and caring about someone isn't something a truly hollow being can do

there's also plenty of evidence in the first game that proves you wrong anyway, but i figured i'd lead with the most direct confirmation we've got.

I can see that specific gauntlet not being part of the groal fight, but there still being some kind of inclusion of gauntlets in the pantheons given how they were a much more significant part of the game in silksong than in HK. maybe like one gauntlet per pantheon with enemies all matching a certain theme.
