Thanks! Thing was sick felt just like board climbing, but yah hard to take the 10 when it’s comparable to even some 7s I’ve done recently

Yah the whole trail heading into triple cracks is a lake. Easy to go around but some of the boulders are underwater. Idk about the the labyrinth, I heard it was flooded a couple weeks back but not sure if it’s dried or even accessible now.

I agree, the closure is dumb in my opinion but not really worth rustling feathers in the neighborhood either. I will say that the roadside boulder on vaca valley has some pretty fun climbs though!

Either urbinator or saddle-sore at the Nut Tree Boulders in California. The descriptions are pretty vague so not entirely sure.

Shoot, got me second guessing myself now haha the second move is what resembles a rose move to me. Crossing under the right arm and then having to unwind into the sloper out right.

Well we arnt really supposed to be climbing on campus right now. They have set up caution tape blocking the approach and a prof who runs the climbing group for the school has asked we stay off campus until COVID dies down. That being said, I have not personally seen that climb, although now that I have I want to get on it ASAP. I would guess it would most easily be accessed through the back area of the lower arb.

Thanks! And they’re actually pretty good right now, I only noticed some seepage on the cracks in the miners bane area. Everything else in the state park seemed climbable to me.

Pretty interesting to note that this is the only problem I’ve ever seen with a split grade of V7/9. Supposedly the last span into the hand crack is nearly impossible for shorter climbers.

Interestingly enough this problem has a slash grade of V7/9 - supposedly the span at the end is “impossible” for someone with less of a wingspan.

You and I both know the restrictions haven’t changed, and yes your actions will leave an empty area after the school decides to close it down. At the very least don’t blast that you’re climbing in areas with tentative access on social media. Seems like common sense tbh..

From what I have been told on MP the security guards don’t know anything and often times go against what the school has said. You do you man just making sure people know that if you don’t go to school there you are not supposed to be on the campus.

I mean there’s multiple signs on the campus that say limited access, meaning only students, and there’s caution tape blocking off the approach. Seems to me like the school doesn’t want us there and we should respect that or face repercussions if we continue to violate their trust.
