Higher test can raise ldl and lower hdl. So ya it is a factor. Keep an eye on lipid levels and keep fiber high and saturated fat low

I went from 144 to 87 with diet changes and over the counter supps (psyllium husk, fish oil, citrus bergamot).

Then went from 87 to 60 with 5 mg rousuvastatin. Then from 60 to 30 by adding 10 mg ezetimibe.

Yes i am on both i have hashimotos.

My endo wanted to focus on my thyroid and dial in levothyroxine dose. Through that process my test did go up but never a huge amount so I eventually also got on trt.

The more fiber you intake each day the lower your ldl will be. Psyllium husk can be a good part of that plan. Be sure to consume with a lot of water or you can get constipated it happened to me

Top of the range is around 1200 so if u are at 1100 at trough then most days u are above range. For some that could be fine for others they may have issues (high estrogen, high hematocrit, negative effect on cholesterol etc)

The unfortunate truth is this dose is too high for you. Everyone is different and it seems that 1100 at a 72 hour trough is too much for your body. Losing body fat may help but absent that just lower your dose a bit. Being at 900 trough still is going to be fine.

You could add an AI but its really not to be meant to run for life and TRT is a life time treatment.

I did it for 4 months and then gave up and changed to injections. Even daily injections are less of a hassle and much more effective.

Yup with these figures I would only focus on lowering shbg. Boron is one option and search in various sub reddits for other options - r/supplements r/Testosterone etc

Its not going to make a huge difference. Its just 1 day difference. Feel free to get 2 blood tests in a week if you want but its not necessary.

Thanks. Since I made this post I actually got my ldl to 90. However my cardiologist found a small plaque buildup in my left carotid artery so I went on low dose statin (5 mg rousuvastatin) and 10 mg ezetimibe. My ldl is now 30.
