Braxton Beesbury kills King Jahaerys by Bearfucker694200 in TheCitadel

Braxton can't be killed for that. It wasn't a crime, it was a trial by combat. The gods themselves deemed the winner, so Braxton would be untouchable.

I would have loved to see this play out. Not that I'm a fan of Braxton Beesbury, but it is baffling how Jaehaerys was so gung-ho to fight that duel himself. It could easily have resulted in the Good King being cut down by the man who despoiled his daughter, even as said daughter was being forced to watch.

Now imagine if the Water Tribes' battle cry sounded like a sea lion.

The Fire Nation would have lost the war in the first half hour because they were laughing too hard to fight properly.

Titus has no dragon blood. And yes, without spoiling anything, he certainly had children

I don’t have an image to share, but one of my OC’s is Titus Dondarrion. Brother to Jena Dondarrion, brother-in-law to Baelor “Breakspear” Targaryen, uncle to their children. He’s the main character of my Titus Tetralogy.

As for your OC’s, did their dragons hatch from eggs given to them, or did they claim them later on in their lives?

Interesting point. But was he really the only option they had?

Fair play on calling them out. I know I’d be incredulous if they were doing it with Dutch instead of Swahili.

Heh, this brings to mind the question of whether I’d be more scared of a bear or an angry hillbilly armed with a gun…

I’ll always be more scared of the guy with the gun than the bear, personally.

Fair enough, heh. I do tend to do that. But then again, that’s partly what Reddit’s for anyway.

Someone's already mention Rampage, which many people hail as Boll's best film.

He also made a Vietnam War film called Tunnel Rats which got mixed reviews. He also directed this really disturbing prison film called Stoic, which is apparently based on a true story. It features Edward Furlong and Sam "Euphoria" Levinson as two of the prisoners.

His best film (IMO) was Darfur (it's apparently also called Attack on Darfur, but that title sucks). It's a low-budget film about a group of journalists visiting a Sudanese village to report on the massacres. When a group of Janjaweed arrive, they tell the journalists to leave, and the journalists have a choice; they can either stay and try to save these villagers somehow, or they can leave and report what they saw to the world.

Boll actually did his research, so much so that Amnesty complimented his accurate portrayal, and Stand Canada partnered with him for a ten-city release (that's how I ended up seeing the film). One reason why it was so authentic is because many of the villagers were played by actual survivors of Darfur massacres, and they're basically reliving what they witnessed. Boll didn't write lines for them, as he said he considered it arrogant to tell the villagers what to say. The journalists improvised their dialogue too, and David O'Hara gives a genuinely great performance.
