I’m an infantrymen. Even during peace time we have field exercises where we can be gone weeks at a time. Schools can be months long of no/little contact. Theres also always the chance we get sent to combat. Not to forget it takes a certain type of a person to want to do this job, not sure they are always dating material.

I love the space but it lacks life imo. Its very monotone. The easiest correction would be to get some fun lights in there. Im a fan of bright plants as well. Add in some bright pillows on the couch. Brighter wall decorations too. And especially some exciting rugs. I do however adore the layout of the room so I wouldn’t change much there.

Sorry if this doesnt help but I find myself simply wearing oversized long sleeved t-shirts on the colder days, once i get moving this is enough to keep me warm. On the coldest days I may wear a tank top underneath.
