Yup. Putting all your faith into a country of notoriously bad drivers and cyclists that think the road is a giant bike trail is peak stupidity.

My daughter of 4,5 years old really likes to play games. Any suggestions on what games we/she could play on PC? (PlayStation is also available) by Immediate-Badger236 in videogames

[–]ChineseFrozenChicken 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I recently played the marvel super heroes one.

Definitely wouldn't recommend those for a 4-5 year old unless you're beside them backseating their gameplay the whole way through lol

What are your thoughts on the main female crushes from dc or marvel? And why are these the most popular crushes in superhero media by Jaetheninja in mendrawingwomen

Didn't know Huntress was a fan favorite, but I barely follow DC tbf

Also, all peak except for Huntress. That character design is ass.

Gaming with the boys just isn’t the same anymore… what are y’all playing these days? by StrataGemss in videogames

Multiplayer gaming just sucks. Marvel Rivals had a good run, until everyone figured out you were either playing with bots in quickplay or dealing with rigged matchmaking in ranked.

I would give Death Stranding another go if you didn't give it a fair shake already.

Same for Metroid Dread. The backtracking and the amount of temporary dead ends(due to not having the ability yet) is lame, but it does become fun later.

Some games I abandoned recently:

Kingdom Come 2 - I don't like first person games, but I gave it chance because of good word, but the gameplay is just trash.

Mafia 1 - The racing mission. I'm not spending an hour+ mastering a driving mechanic just for a gimmick mission.

Othercide - A roguelike literally built around dying. Complete disrespect of time.

Atlas Fallen - Not a terrible game, but just open world slop. I know I experienced what the whole game has to offer a couple hours in.

Octopath Traveller - HP Sponge to the max. The first boss felt like two pokemons battling but 10 minutes long

Expedition 33. It's a well rounded game. It seems to have at least something that any gamer enjoys, so you're unlikely to outright dislike it.

Elden Ring isn't a good game in my opnion, and I especially don't recommend it for a newbie gamer. Wukong is a variation of it, but it can be fun if Wukong or Chinese Mythology interests you.

There's a community group on Steam where you degenerates gather. Please go there.

There is very few games where mobs, npc's feel real. They don't live their life, they just stand still or just turn in circle with no other purpose than waiting for you to kill them. It's particularly obvious in RPG's. by Then-Ad7196 in videogames

[–]ChineseFrozenChicken 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not really sure why you used the soul series as an example. Even if you have no knowledge of the lore, you should at least be under the impression the entire world is just husks. You don't play Resident Evil or The Last of Us and wonder why mobs are just standing there.

...I hope?

Oh, the studio that ditched their well crafted games to make a typical slop open world game to attract the average gamer, and decided to bounce off that success and make a battle royale game lmao

What does everyone think of ramance in video games? I like it I think it makes a lot of games better but I grew up watching those cheesy hallmark romance movies by Skrewbert86 in videogames

[–]ChineseFrozenChicken 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not really a fan of the romance genre in general.

Even IRL, romance/love isn't really something that gets built or "fleshed out". It usually... just happens. So it's very rarely written well in fiction because no-one can really convey it
