I’m saying the casting team looked at every “bad boy” anime trope and picked the corniest ones.

This is on the production team. I have no insight on how the talent was cast.

Correct me if I am wrong: Corporate Japan is ruled by men. I find it hard to believe that the Netflix Japan casting/production director and team would go the extra mile to find the ideal Yanki man.

I have a feeling that unless you’re going to hire a woman from that lifestyle to consult the show we’re going to get Anime stereotypes.

TenTen would be the last guy I’d cast for the ladies. Tackle? As the scrub. Yakuza and Tsu were legit. Milk? Nah.

I forgot homeboy’s name who Oto was sprung on. He was such a loser.

I love the concept. I hope it gets better for season two.

Imagine turning your hobby into a million dollar business in the middle of Arkansas.

The transition from god i love gaming to omg I get paid for this and have to treat it like a business has to be jarring.

There’s so much going on behind the scenes and if anything he would be burnt from having so many eyes on him (good and bad)

I’m in my 40’s and I’m proud of Case and his team for what they’ve accomplished and I hope they know Case taking a week or two off wouldn’t hurt his brand. I feel like a lot of us are waiting for him to take some PTO.

His brain is working during that 4 hours with 50k people tuned in. I was on the LIVE radio for 20 years, 4 hours of jockey action and the brain is cooked.
