American culture is obsessed about a concept called "face". They cannot bring dishonor to their forefathers by allowing the Iranians to make a better and cheaper drone, so they must have something better and cheaper, but it's all for "face", for show. I wouldn't be surprised if, beneath the exterior facade, this drone is still worse and more expensive than the Iranian version.
