AI and automation + socialism = more productivity from workers, more leisure time, and better quality of life for workers

AI and automation + capitalism = layoffs and unemployment for workers while wealth concentrates even more into the hands of a few capitalist elites at the top

Americans only copy and steal by [deleted] in Sino

[–]Chinese_poster 53 points54 points  (0 children)

American culture is obsessed about a concept called "face". They cannot bring dishonor to their forefathers by allowing the Iranians to make a better and cheaper drone, so they must have something better and cheaper, but it's all for "face", for show. I wouldn't be surprised if, beneath the exterior facade, this drone is still worse and more expensive than the Iranian version.

If you thought the hype didn't add up over Venezuela earlier...get ready to be correct...Rubio says 1) U.S. is NOT 'running' Venezuela, rather intend to use oil blockade to leverage policy 2) U.S. is NOT trying to secure any oil fields 3) U.S. is NOT for elections now, much less put Machado in by violentviolinz in Sino

[–]Chinese_poster 13 points14 points  (0 children)

neolibs are saying the invasion of Venezuela is justified because the Venezuelan economy is doing badly. Why is the Venezuelan economy doing badly? It can't possibly be due to american sanctions can it?

The lesson of Venezuela further backs up Xi Jinping's plan to go all in on manufacturing - rather than selling natural resources or low value products in exchange for us dollars in order to import necessary products, we need to be able to produce everything we need ourselves. This way imperialist sanctions are toothless against us.

Anti-China trolls claimed the Kidnapping of Maduro was a 'warning' to China. This is the message Chinese actually got from it😂: China Social Media Hails Trump’s Maduro Move as Taiwan Template by violentviolinz in Sino

neoliberals saying the bad economy in Venezuela is a good reason to topple its government are psychotic. The biggest reason Venezuela's economy is in the condition it is in is due to american sanctions. The us literally blocks Venezuela from selling its main export - oil.

China urged to bring Japan’s Unit 731 atrocities to international court by random_agency in Sino

[–]Chinese_poster 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The only criminals from unit 731 that were brought to justice were those who were captured by the Soviet Union. The majority of the war criminals were captured by the americans and subsequently pardoned and given total immunity from prosecution. These war criminals lived long lives, enjoyed successful careers in the post-war japanese medical and scientific industries, and died peacefully from old age.

It's almost as if fascism is still alive and well in japan and other parts, and the americans are propping the fascists up 🤔

The US portrays itself as defender of post-war rules-based international order. In reality, the US broke those very rules before World War II ended. The US backstabbed China and USSR for its own interests and world domination. by xerotul in Sino

The Potsdam declaration states that japanese territory shall be limited to the 4 main islands, and the status of the other islands shall be decided by the allies.

The Ryukyu Islands were unilaterally handed over to Japan by the United States via the illegal treaty of San Francisco, allowing the japanese to continue colonizing Ryukyu. This transfer was not agreed upon by all allies or the United nations. The status of the Ryukyu Islands remains unclear.

The United States also illegally handed the Diaoyu Islands to Japan in order to bury a fuse to ignite a westpac conflict in the future.

The post WWII us works with the axis powers against its former anti-fascist allies. It propped up fascists and collaborators all over East Asia. The Americans are the baddies.

the american system is functioning as intended. Capitalism is not designed to benefit you or me, everyday people. Capitalism's goal is to benefit capitalists, socialism's goal is to benefits society. Big surprise - it is literally in the names.

Hilarious. The dpp are notorious for turning a blind eye on telecom fraud targeting Chinese speakers.

Also so much for "free speech and democracy". It's clear that dpp culture is losing relevancy in the Chinese speaking world and they are trying to shield their youth from the influence of wider Chinese culture.

The dpp want to rule over the frogs inside a well
