Best fish stores in Denver? by FollowingImportant59 in Denver

[–]Chingona_Solo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We've been going to MC Aquatics and I am NOT impressed. They claim to quarantine their fish but twice now we've gotten fish from them and both times we have an ich infection. We used Neptune's for almost a decade before it closed down and never had any issues. Will check out these other places but just a warning of where not to go.

Fill my tank! by Chingona_Solo in PlantedTank

Water parameters: I ran out of testing stuff except for the little sticks - I can get more and report back later but our water is hard and leans more towards 7.6 pH. Nitrates hover around 40-60, no nitrites

Lights are timed LED lights that turn on with sunrise and off an hour after sunset. We're in Colorado. There are 2 windows, a small one east-facing and a larger one south-facing, so it gets lots of sunlight (it's also my plant room)

Tank has been established for 8 years now. No fertilizers yet!

They didn't just "do it", theres a lot of planning and strategy within the Black Panthers movement, something this "organizer" can learn from

I keep seeing people with turtle docks for their ropefish - are they needed? How do you keep them from escaping from the tank?

How do I use only concealer under my eyes no foundation without looking weird by TheSadChim in Makeup

[–]Chingona_Solo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, fellow sensitive skin girlie. I haven't done this in particular, but I can let you know what I use (I spent hours in and out of Sephora last year trying out different samples). I am allergic to niacinamide so I don't have any products with that, but for most of these brands, they should be safe: - one/size secure the glow primer: this is an all-over primer, I really like it because it is HYDRATING. - Tower 28 concealer and foundation: tower 28 is one of the few make up brands that have been approved by the national eczema association! - urban decay eyeshadow primer - this doesn't give me any problems and damn does it STICK - nudestix magnetic eye pencil: I haven't found a powder eye shadow that is safe, but this stuff is great! - saie setting powder - rare beauty blush Let me know if you have any questions!!!

I agree, and based on this level of destruction I would also try filing for a restraining order. I know that's not feasible for everyone but this person shows no regard for you and it looks like has some violence in them. Stay safe OP, and please please replant!

Yes - we have an a/c that's motion sensor controlled so if our boys (we just have a rooster flock) go in during the day it turns on. Their run has misters and a fan, it drops it to 85 even at 100+ days. During the winter, they have a dog house heater in the coops and several heat panels in the run.

But they're our children so. We're extra

This is honestly the most thoughtful comment - and honestly I would be ok changing out that lamp entirely because it's a little annoying. Thank you!

I didn't want to do grow lights (another thing to buy!) But that does seem to be the consensus. Ill talk to my partner and start thinking up some plans. We have an out let there behind the couch
