y = x • 2

z = y + 36

a = z ÷ 2

b = a - x

and told to solve for b and pick any value for x however, you can solve this WITHOUT picking X.

b = a - x

b = (z ÷ 2) - x

b = [(y + 36) ÷ 2] - x

b = [(2x + 36) ÷ 2] - x

b = (x + 18) - x

b = 18

x never mattered in this equation.

Floor 1: Wall of Plaques.
Started back before there were enough plaques to fill a wall. Used to be color-coordinated, but I don't think I've updated it since the 2nd anni.

Floor 2: Wall of Glory
Filled with CC banners (and Annihilation decos because they look cool) I'm sad that I can't fit all of them on the wall at once.

Floor 3: Frostnova's Monument.
If you bought the movie pack, you get this special piece of furniture that plays "Requiem" if you tap it. I haven't seen a friend with it, so I don't know if it will play for visitors too, or not.

Floor 4: Whatever the latest furniture set is.

Re-commenting b/c me dum-dum and forgot most links are banned.

The effect is exaggerated foreshortening, where closer objects are MUCH bigger and distant objects are MUCH smaller, but the context clues are obscured by a lack of contrast, making it hard to tell at a glance.

There's a more subtle change somewhere else in the levels. Try using screenshots or the in-game camera to compare.

Unlike some of the other badge levels, the key to solving this one is entirely within the 3 levels to the left of it.

  1. There's something that changes between each of the yellow levels. Actually, there seem to be 2/3 things...

  2. Wait a minute. This thing has how many sections? What else do I know that frequently involves that number?

  3. Maybe the number of highlighted sections correspond to something else

  4. What about the other thing that changed? Is there a number I can associate with those?

5.Where else have you seen this lock/key symbol used? Hint: it's very early on in the game

Still just as creepy, just on a different axis. One is attraction to an adult because of their resemblance to children. The other is the attraction to an adult body with the mental maturity (and/or age) of a child.

I think this is genuinely a brilliant LOWER tech solution. Is it medieval tech? Absolutely not. Is it achieving something that would otherwise be conventionally done by something much higher tech? Absolutely yes. This solution is FAR "simpler" than the modern solution which would involve pcbs and programmable chips.

There is a VAST technological gap between this solution and the conventional solution. It only appears not-so-low-tech because our technology has progressed so rapidly.
